DR RAJNEESH ROY

Dr Rajneesh Roy finished his Post-Graduate training in Endodontics in 2007, and has been practising as Endodontic specialist in Hamilton since then. Although he is a full-time clinician, he has a keen interest in teaching & research. Several of his papers have been published in international peer reviewed publications. He is currently the co-editor of the New Zealand Endodontic Journal. He has been an external examiner for the Post-Graduate program in Otago on several occasions. Rajneesh is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

DR RAJNEESH ROY 

DR GETULIO NOGUEIRA

Dr Getulio (Gee) Nogueira graduated with a BDS from the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) in 1991 and gained his DClinDent in Periodontology from the University of Campinas (Brazil) in 1999. He also has postdoc training in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Washington (USA, 2004) and the University of Hong Kong (China, 2008). He also has been working in private practice as a periodontics specialist since 2003 (Brazil, Canada, NZ). Gee has recently worked as a Senior Lecturer in Periodontics at the University of Otago from 2020 to 2023 and has published over 65 peer-reviewed papers in PubMed in the areas of Periodontics and Dental Implantology. His main research focus is host modulation, and his passion is practicing evidence-based periodontics.

DR GETULIO NOGUEIRA 

DR DIOGO (DJ) GODOY ZANICOTTI

DJ has been a specialist Periodontist for 18 years. DJ has specialist degrees in both Periodontics and Dental Implantology (Brazil), a Masters Degree in Clinical Dentistry – Dental Implantology (Brazil), and a PhD on stem cells and dental implants from the University of Otago (NZ). He is an active member of numerous national and international dental organisations including the American Academy of Periodontology, NZDA, NZSSD, NZ Society of Periodontology and Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists. DJ has presented lectures, seminars, and surgical training programmes in NZ and Internationally. His literature contributions include scientific articles and textbook chapters. His areas of special interest are dental implants, soft tissue grafting, and bone grafting. DJ is also a passionate advocate of sustainability in Dentistry.

DR DIOGO (DJ) GODOY ZANICOTTI 

DR RICHARD EILENBERG

Dr Eilenberg graduated from the University of Otago and was awarded the “Leask Silver Memorial Medal' for Conservative Dentistry. His passion for creativity led him to complete a Master of Science degree in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman in London. On his return, he was awarded NZ’s first “Advanced Certificate in Dentistry'. He is the ex-President and Diplomat of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Dr Eilenberg established the “NZ Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry' specialising in hands-on courses for general dentists and developed a boutique private practice with an emphasis on biomimetic restorative, reconstructive, and CADCAM dentistry in Auckland.

DR RICHARD EILENBERG 

DR DAVID ANTUNOVIC

Dr David Antunovic began working in general dental practice in 1983, working in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He has undertaken postgraduate studies with the University of Otago (DipClinDent), the RACP (FFOMP) and the RACDS (FRACDS) and is a registered specialist in special needs dentistry. He was a founding member of the ANZASND Academy after graduating in 2003. For over 20 years he has also been an external clinical advisor to the ACC and has undertaken forensic identification work since 1992 for the NZSFO, with 3 DVI deployments, including the 2005 Boxing Day Tsunami. As a special needs consultant, he is Clinical Leader at Taranaki Base hospital and Dunedin hospital and is now the Discipline Head for special needs dentistry at the University of Otago.

DR DAVID ANTUNOVIC 

DR DAVID EDGAR

Dr David Edgar is a general dentist practising in Gisborne for 51 years , He completed his B.D.S. In 1968 and a post graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry [Restorative] in 1993. He has been involved with Hospital and Community Oral Health as Clinical Director Oral Health Tairawhiti since 1992 with a strong interest in Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology along with Special Care patients.

DR DAVID EDGAR 

DR SHENG ZHANG

Dr Sheng Zhang completed a Bachelor of Oral Health from University of Sydney and Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide where he was awarded the University Medal. He has a Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics from James Cook University and specialist post graduate training in periodontics with a sub specialisation in implants from Spain. His practice is limited to providing periodontal disease management and implant rehabilitation of complex multidisciplinary cases. His passion for dental knowledge and to provide the best individualised patient centred care has let him to spend time with the best clinicians in these fields around the world. He is on a mission to bring this knowledge back to New Zealand and disseminate it to a wider dental community to ensure improved health outcomes for patients.

DR SHENG ZHANG 

DR ANDREA SHEPPERSON

Dr Andrea Shepperson graduated from the University of Otago in 1984. She is a general practitioner with a focus on tooth wear and interdisciplinary management of aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. She is an author, global speaker and owner of Shepperson Education, a teaching facility on Waiheke Island. Her events have a strong emphasis on digital applications in dentistry, evidence-based clinical strategies and their implementation. As a practising clinician, she understands the hearts and minds of dentists and their daily challenges. She brings a wealth of international knowledge and high level engagement with some of the leading researchers and dentists of the world. She is a mentor and alumna of the internationally renowned Kois Center in Seattle, USA, NZ’s only Digital Smile Design KOL and Master, running NZ’s first DSD Clinic. She published her new book, Managing Tooth Wear in March 2023.
