Leadership is inherently difficult and lonely. It can be made even more challenging when leaders are faced with cultural issues inside their teams. This is particularly true when a clear path forward is not immediately evident. This program aims to provide leaders with a collection of tools and perspectives to assist them in navigating the complex environment of team dynamics, leaving them more confident and focused. Facilitators of this program approach discussions through a lens of their own personal failures as leaders (inside the military and corporate contexts), and not from any moral high ground. The course utilises facilitated discussions and hands-on training.

Learning outcomes

Understanding conflict and knowing how to approach it Having the tools and mindset to engage in difficult conversations Understanding how to adjust one’s communication style so that it lands with an audience Understanding team dynamics and being able to manage the ‘storms’ Being able to articulate one’s personal and team boundaries as means of protecting the relationships Understanding the balance between being overly critical or avoidant
