NZRC CORE Immediate Adult and Child

CORE Immediate - Adult and Child is for rescuers who might be expected to manage the early stages of cardiac arrest. Certification requires the learner to demonstrate a given standard of simulated practical skills, facilitated by self-directed learning, face-to-face training, and formal assessment.

I am a New Zealand trained registered nurse with 22 years of adult and paediatric Emergency Department experience. I hold a Masters Degree in Nursing Science from Victoria University and I have completed additional post-graduate training in Adult Education. I have extensive resuscitation training experience with 15 years of teaching Basic and Advanced Life Support across the country. I am a New Zealand Resuscitation Council (NZRC) qualified Core and Newborn Life Support instructor and instruct on both the ALERT and Paediatric Life Support (PLS) Courses. I am the secretary for the Core Instruct
