Medical Emergencies do happen in Dentistry. Are you prepared? This hands-on course leads to certification in Advanced Life Support for dentists and staff. The training is designed to provide the practitioner and their support staff with a simple algorithm for the management of medical emergencies within the practice. Participants will learn about the most common life-threatening medical conditions, how to recognise them and how to conduct a quick and accurate clinical assessment and lead the practice team in providing effective treatment.

Dr John Fahey

Dr John Fahey (PhD) has over forty years experience in emergency medicine and pre-hospital care. This has enabled John to develop a number of courses in modern pre-hospital emergency medical care for the dental industry and the professions. These courses combine simplicity and advanced techniques in a comprehensive package designed for specific industries and workplaces and for medical personnel such as ambulance officers, industrial paramedics and for dental and medical professionals. Many of these courses are now regarded as industry standards.
