Kate Rotella Dental Hygenist
Originally from the UK, Kingston Upon Hull. I studied at the Leeds Dental Institute and qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene, 1999. In 2000 I began my adventures through New Zealand. Settled in Auckland and started working with a number of dentists, at a time when dental hygienists were very rare. I immediately joined the New Zealand Dental Hygienist Association which was in its infancy. To come from a well-regulated profession governed by the British Dental Council to a country with no regulations, registrations or official governing body written in law, was worrying.
