The diagnosis and treatment planning module emphasises the philosophy of total oral healthcare for patients. Candidates are challenged to consider not only the diagnostic tools they use every day and why they use them but their decision-making process and how that is communicated to patients and other healthcare professionals.

Learning outcomes

The ability to perform appropriate investigative examination procedures and special investigations and integrate these findings into a structured and prioritised treatment plan with multiple options presented which consider patient centred care.
