This 5-hour assessed course provides the basic skills and knowledge for the management of life-threatening illness and injury. Core immediate is for rescuers who might be expected to manage the early stages of cardiac arrest or life-threatening anaphylaxis. The CORE Immediate course covers adult collapse, child and infant Collapse, Advanced Airway, Defibrillation and other practical skills.

Learning outcomes

Practical skills of resuscitation + emergency scenarios. Upon completion of the course the learner should be expected to manage the early stages of a cardiac arrest. This includes adult, child and Infant collapse, the use of an AED and the management of an airway obstruction and breathing.
