Dr Raymond Chan BDS(Distinction), DClinDent(Perio), FRACDS(Perio)

Dr Raymond Chan spent his childhood in New Zealand and completed his undergraduate dental training at The University of Otago, graduating top of his class and attaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction. He completed his specialist Periodontal training at The University of Adelaide, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) and a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons in the special stream of Periodontics. During his studies, Raymond was awarded a number of academic prizes and the Australian Postgraduate Award. Since joining Macquarie Street Periodontists in 2010, he has never looked back. He is an excellent communicator and has a thoughtful approach. Raymond has a thirst for knowledge and is driven by high standards in all aspects of patient care. Raymond loves living in Tasmania and is proud to make “the best place on earth” his home
