Through the provision of International Aid Grants, NZDA supports a number of regular overseas dental aid programmes in countries such as Nepal, Fiji, Cambodia, and many other regions. With the help of volunteer dental professionals and donations, these programmes help to provide much needed dental care to people who do not have access to basic dental resources. The total annual funding made available for international aid is NZ$20,000 per annum.

The International Aid report authored by Craig Waterhouse, Jonathan Broadbent and Mark Goodhew, summarises the information which NZDA Dental Aid Grant applications should include.

NZDA members involved in voluntary dental aid projects are invited to apply for this funding to support your projects.

How to apply?

Application forms need to be submitted to NZDA headquarters before 31 August each year for the next year’s grants. Announcement of the successful applicants will be made in December each year.
